.
We are a parent-led, bible based group that believes in homeschooling as family.
We all work together to have a successful co-op.
A parent/guardian must be willing to teach a class and help where needed during co-op hours.
We are not a drop-off program.
What We Offer
We're a place to build friendships while having fun learning. Our classes are intended to supplement and enrich your home schooling, not replace it. Classs are not highly academic and we do not provide grades. Your membership also allows you to participate in our events. Some activities include: Field trips, monthly fellowships, Friendsgiving, THE Teen Formal, meet-ups/park days and more.
When & Where
We meet on Thursdays from 9am-12pm at Creekside Church of Christ, 6113 Jack Finney Blvd, Greenville

Classes are offered for nursery through 12th grade; however, you must have at least one child in 1st grade (age 6) or above to join.

Overview
We average 100 students each semester. Students take three, 50 minute classes. For 1st-12th grade, the class size varies with a maximum of usually 12 students. Maximum class size for the Preschool & Kindergarten classes is 8 students.
Classes
Unfortunately, you usually won't know what classes will be offered when you apply. That's because we can't create the schedule until after the application ends and we've collected all class ideas. We're all taking a "leap of faith" that parents will offer good classes (and they do!). To get an idea of a typical schedule, check out our current/past semester classes on the "Class Schedule" page. Semesters are independent of each other -- which means you can apply mid-year because we offer new classes each semester!
Volunteer Committment
Without all of us helping out, there would be no co-op. We ask all parents/guardians be willing to teach a class. If you're uncertain about teaching, we'll talk with you about the best way to use your talents and gifts to help co-op. During periods you're not teaching, you'll be placed as a teacher helper or floater (helps wherever is needed).
Consistent attendance is extremely important. We understand "life happens," but excessive absences and/or tardies can affect future enrollment.
Teaching Benefits
You don't get paid to teach, but you will earn volunteer credit for every class you lead teach. When it's time to register for classes, those with 2 or more volunteer credits register before others. So the more you teach, the better your chance at being able to enroll in popular classes before they fill.
What does "bible-based" mean?
Knowing our members come from different religious backgrounds, we use the Bible to guide us. We believe God leads us as we homeschool together. We recognize parents as the primary educator of their own children (Proverbs 22:6); therefore we have the following teaching guidelines:
- We do not allow discussion about specific denominations/religions. Exception: Allowed for historical teaching purposes
- God means the person of the Christian Bible who exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible is considered God's infalliable Word.
- No controversial topics that could lead to discord.
- Marriage is between one man and one woman.
